Goals are not always reached.... and it's okay
I'm a believer in setting goals. If they're not written down and reviewed often theres no chance of them being accomplished. But, there are some goals that aren't meant to be accomplished. Some goals are set as a measuring stick as to how far we can go.
For example, I have a goal of finishing a 5k (3.1 miles) in under 16 minutes. Now, this is a huge, lofty goal. My fastest 5k is 20:38. There are many I race with that can finish 5k's between 15-16 minutes with ease. But, for me getting my 5k time under 20 minutes would be an accomplishment. I may never get the 16 minute 5k I'm looking for, but pushing towards that goal is making me faster and winning multisport races!
Now, set some goals, write them down and get moving towards them.
Start Strong, Finish Stronger!
