Last Thursday I talked about planks and leg raises as extremely effective exercises for strong, well defined abs. (remember, nutrition is important too)
We were vacationing in Colorado this weekend and decided to use what we had available to demonstrate the exercises rather than using the ones we have from the gym.
One of the ab exercises is hanging leg raises. This is a great full body strengthening exercise, but really works the core. Here are a few variations from a local playground.
We didn't exactly find a place to perform real planks. Here are a few extreme examples of planks. (please do not try these at home, Seriously)
Okay, I got a little crazy towards the end of the photos and decided to try "planking" on everything. (again, do not try these at home)
